Okay, I have combined to items posted on Drudge Report:
Juliet Linderman, "The Latest: Ex-aide: Franks offered $5m to carry his child", AP News, and
Rachael Bade, Jake Sherman, "Female aides fretted Franks wanted to have sex to impregnate them", Politico
Looks like Representative Trent Franks' "discussion" was more than a little unusual.

AP: "A former aide to Republican Rep. Trent Franks has told The Associated Press the congressman repeatedly pressed her to carry his child, at one point offering her $5 million to act as a surrogate."
Politico: "Arizona Rep. Trent Franks allegedly made unwanted advances toward female staffers in his office and retaliated against one who rebuffed him, according to House GOP sources with knowledge of a complaint against him." "...aides were concerned that Franks was asking to have sexual relations with them" and "A former staffer also alleged that Franks tried to persuade a female aide that they were in love."
No wonder Ryan walked him out the door. Wonder what his wife thinks of how he went about his? Especially noting his earlier explanation about knowing how these things worked and thought it was all okay for these discussions.

Paid for by taxpayers, and of course,
then the aids get become super-EXEMPT from ObamaCARE.
No wonder the GOP LOVES ObamaCARE keeping THEM EXEMPT,
alone above all others.

You believe "AP" and "Politico"?
Maybe they are right, but I do not automatically accept what these people say. There is too much "news" lying going on nowadays.

His side was to resign and hope it would go away. His wife will be divorcing him in the not to distant future.

"Seems way out of Character" when discussing members of Congress?! Actually, sounds all too normal and not party-specific. I'm always bothered that the conservatives, real or RINO, get tripped up on their sometimes holier-than-thou piousness. Franks fits right in, maybe tame when you consider the likes of Hastert, Craig, Gingrich, Helms, and so many, hard to keep track of them all.
Hey, how about a Congressional Sex Offender Registry?

That is unusual to the point of weird.
And, he and the wife are getting along in years for this.
And, $5 million is an AWFUL lot of money for this service. I wonder if he threw that sum around after he intimated he’d try to impregnate the normal way. But, that’s at odds with his “no embryos are to be wasted in the making of this baby” rhetoric.

Definition of surrogate mother
: a woman who becomes pregnant usually by artificial insemination or surgical implantation of a fertilized egg for the purpose of carrying the fetus to term for another woman
Maybe his wife couldn't bear children.
