I agree. It shouldn’t be political. I will say I would have appreciated Michelle more if she had kept her yap shut.
Go through the formalities of the position, and let the president do what he was elected to do.
With Michelle and Hillary, we got the co-President, although Michelle was much more reserved about that.
Melania is just going about the duties of a First Lady, and I appreciate the respect she has shown for the office, by limiting herself to being just that, a good first lady.
If Michelle were doing some of the things Hillary did as first lady, the media would be doing their best to destroy her.

Thank you, and I apologize for that last sentence. I had Michelle on the brain, but I meant to address Melania in that last sentence. You probably understood that, but I wanted to make sure.
Take care.
I have liked her actions related to Christmas, and in fact a number of other holidays too.
She’s just a class act. You can really tell when you compare her to others. I thought Laura Bush did okay. She did make some unfortunate comments from time to time, but she was a good First Lady overall > IMO.
