A man trying to rob a San Antonio fast food restaurant at gunpoint on Wednesday was killed by a father licensed to carry a handgun, according to reports.

This whole unpleasantness could have been easily avoided. All the dead man had to do was obey the law and refrain from threatening innocent people. But oh no, that was just too much to ask.
Good. Innocent people have the right to protect themselves and their families. No government has the right to take away this right.
I don't think those countries have the same problem with ferals/illegals, so it's like comparing apples with oranges.
If they were honest, they could compare crime by ethnicity.

“I never see a ‘good guy with a gun,’” Clymer said. “I see a human more likely to exacerbate a tragedy than to stop it.
I guess Mr Clymer considered himself a human being more likely to exacerbate a tragedy then stop it during his military service!

It says more guns equals more gun deaths, so a good guy with a gun is a myth. That is so f...ing stupid. In this case, yes, there is one more gun death, the bad guy. But if the good guy hadn’t killed him we don’t know how many more innocent deaths there would have been.
Much better to rob a bank.They have instructions not to resist so you don’t need a gun.Just hand the teller a note and voila!...a bag of cash is handed to you.
No government is in a position to protect its citizens. When seconds count cops are minutes away. Guns don’t kill, it’s the human holding the gun who kills. There are literally thousands of apparently ineffective laws (including the 10 Commandments) forbidding humans from killing each other.
The countries that have gun control and have let thousands of so called Muslim “refugees” waltz in have experienced a rapid increase of crimes. Of course, those same governments are now powerless to stop it.
Some gun death stats are positive as those deaths save the lives of others. Of course, those are usually in the minority.
