The attack that left Republican Sen. Rand Paul with six cracked ribs outside his Kentucky home came after a long-simmering disagreement with a 17-year neighbor over grass clippings, according to a report.
An acquaintance of both men said the fellow doctors stood in their yards about 10 years ago and shouted at each other about grass clippings that Pauls lawn mower sprayed onto Bouchers property, the Washington Post reported.
The feds said they are investigating the case, in which Boucher could be charged under federal statutes that include a provision that bars assaults on members of Congress and other high-ranking government officials, the paper reported.

That was my old neighborhood up in Massachusetts.
Here, I have to go about 5 miles to see a sidewalk! Over in Newtown center.

Senator Paul is a man who thinks very highly of himself and we all saw the bile he reserved for Trump during the primary when Trump bested him. He cant be an easy guy for any man not in thrall to him to get along with.
Uhhhhhh.... me thinks you don't like him. Senator Paul is principled. He is a man of integrity. Whatever the ultimate reason for his being attacked, it was not because he thinks very highly of himself.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooh...that's what I had assumed, until I saw your post.
True...otherwise there are NO sidewalks anywhere else, here, that I know of.

Alternate use for leaf blowers”: Make snow rollers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_roller
It requires a deft touch on the throttle and careful angle control, but a sort of homemade snow roller is possible if the snow conditions are favorable.

Oak leaves are good sustainable mulch. They do tend to hang on all winter though.
Lawns outside of England are problematic.

a former neighbor of mine from along time ago screamed at me when my dog pissed on the street curb that lined his lawn. I said “really?” more screaming about his grass, “ok sure, sorry, won’t let him do it again.” and kept walking. would have hated living next door to him, thankfully he was about 6 houses down.

The last paragraph of the excerpt shows promise, though. There’s no way this was a misdemeanor.

They use them in places where they mulch the lawn waste. They can grind up the bags with the leaves and they compost just fine.OK, makes sense. Where I live the humidity is normally so low, around 6%, that we can't mulch as the dead grass and leaves dry so quickly.
