They are dropping like flies. Another one bites the dust.
Franks has not come out with the reason why he is resigning but he is a very conservative representative. This will be a loss to the GOP.

It seems like a good thing for anyone elected from Arizona to resign. Hope the trend continues and accelerates.
Guess we know why Trent Franks never went for the Senate.

I’m just sayin...maybe we are about to see exactly why the spineless, cowardly, mild-mannered, go-along-to-get-along, compromising, do-nothing, reach-across-the-aisle, ineffective Republicans, never accomplish anything. Perhaps they are all compromised and subject to a myriad of threats of disclosure. If someone had, oh lets say 900 FBI files with this type of sensitive info, it could probably be used to advantage perhaps.
Franks has supported Trump since Trump got the nomination.

About 10 minutes ago, Fox announced “breaking news” that Ethics Comm. is opening an investigation on Franks.
“I have recently learned that the Ethics Committee is reviewing an inquiry regarding my discussion of surrogacy with two previous female subordinates, making each feel uncomfortable,” he said in a statement. “I deeply regret that my discussion of this option and process in the workplace caused distress.”
