he leader of Germany's main socialist party has called for a United States of Europe by 2025. Martin Schulz said any countries who disagree should follow Britain's example and leave the bloc. He made the plea in a speech to 600 of his Social Democrats at a congress to decide whether to start coalition talks with Angela Merkel's party.

So what kind of United States of Europe is envisioned here?
A USE of states rights, limited federal Europe government? Will each state’s legislature vote on Sinators for the USE’s Sinate? Will it be a Republic or a Democracy?
Or, as I suspect, we’re talking of a USE much like the USA of today, without states rights, a democracy trampling states rights, unlimited federal power, and so on.

Germans are desperate to dump Muttie Merkel’s Muslims onto the welfare rolls in Poland and Hungary. There should never have been an EU, and there definitely should never be a U.S.E. The way things are going in the U.S.A. should be a cautionary tale for the rest of the world.

Just to point this out...Schulz and his SPD Party got the lowest total of votes in a national election since 1945. It goes without saying much....that they’ve lost a lot of appeal among general working-class Germans. And if you asked them to rate this need for some giant EU mechanism....it’s way down on the priority list.
IMO, this was the clear goal of Albright/Clinton who believed that the US should not be the only super power in the world and played a major role in creating the EU.

Yep. Today’s German Socialists ought to just go ahead and abbreviate their party’s name to the Spazis and play the Horst Wessel song at their rallies.
“Europa is one step away from Utopia.”
They will call the US of Europe (i.e. the new Germanic Super State) “Europia” for short.
