I got into a relationship with a woman with a kid when I was early 20s
It was awkward and I wasn’t the kid lover yet I grew to be around 29-30
She raised that boy eventually by herself after her husband had split
Typically in my youth and my between time I preferred women with no kids
First time cause I wasn’t ready for it
Second cause I had two already and wanted more of my own
Selfish patriarchal ways I confess
I would never have one nighter or shacked up with a woman with kids there
Never
I didn’t want them to see a strange man in mommy bed
People today could care less
It’s no more a deal than a good meal
It’s wrong
When I met my second wife we never spent the night in front of my daughters
We snuck off
Which was fun actually.....
Great post and all very true. I think men above 30 just start being able to accept another woman’s children. I think it is just natural. That’s why it is so dangerous to have teenage men and men in their twenties around your child unless and until you really get to know them. And even then you must be cautious. By the way the sneaking off sounds fun LOL
