Yep. Just a slower decline...with nothing as exciting as the MMA to replace it.

I love the game of basketball, but cannot watch the freaks play it. It is not even a sport, more of a circus show with all of the boys 6’10” and taller.

Actually, in effect, College Football is replacing it. There’s so much college football on TV now, that it’s crowding out the NFL.

College ball may become the interest after the NFL goes red belly up.

It seems to me the colleges will still have the same draw as they always did, and perhaps more.

I love the game of Football, and still watch some NFL games, only now on tape delay at an accelerated rate. I haven’t watched an entire game since 2015 though. Then again, I have only watched 5 Super Bowl games, they are boring and drawn out. To watch them is to sit through the very worst parts of a regular season game.

Funny story I heard. During WWII, they tried asking the standard “Who Won the World Series in .....” questions. Well the soldier didn’t really follow sports, so he couldn’t answer the questions, so he starts cussing up a storm. They finally let him through, because they figured that there was no way a German could cuss like that.

But if you can’t hope to get a big payday from the NFL, why would you play college ball? To get free tuition for a joke of a degree that won’t get you a gig at Walmart? I doubt it. If the NFL goes belly up, NCAAF will either have to start paying ita players or face extinction.

Yes. Five years is long enough that Goodell can go down in history as the last commissioner of the NFL, at least as a relevant sports organization.

I hate the NFL. I really hope someone comes up with a league to compete against those frigging disgusting, vagrants.

Jerry Jones tried to get him fired but he needed 16 more votes. He got no support. Owners afraid of players union, Goodell, and leftist antifa violence. Jones should sell Cowboys while he can still get a ton of money and start a new league. Call it the All American Football League

College Football did just fine before the NFL made it big. NFL players used to have to get jobs in the off-season.

The NFL quadruples-down on stupidity.

Keep kneeling, SJW’s!!!

Die, NFL. Die.

Eliminate all tax benefits for the NFL NOW. Wherever possible.

Good riddance.

Getting a free ride to college is still a rather big pay-day of sorts. You do have a point though. The quality of college ball may take a hit, as the type of person who was formerly there for an NFL contract down the road, probably wouldn’t be interested any longer.

The blindness of an organization worth this much money is breathtaking. At every opportunity to make a good decision they make the worst one.
