The Senate grilling Roy Moore will face 'immediately' if he wins

The probe, likely to be rigorous, would be carried out behind closed doors by the Senate Ethics Committee's professional, nonpartisan staff. It could take months, and might come up empty or conclude with an "admonishment" — essentially a slap on the wrist. The committee could also recommend that the full Senate vote on a motion to "censure" Moore or expel him from Congress.

“If he were to be elected, he would immediately have an issue with the Ethics Committee that they would take up,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., told reporters Tuesday during a Capitol Hill news conference.

As guilt as a number of these degenerates are, I think they will be running for cover during the feeding frenzy that has already started. You wish to find a senator, look under a rock somewhere. And be careful as it may be crowded under there and they may roll out toward your knees and ankles.

Bannon needs to give Moore the files on all the scumbag senators—then let the games begin!

All we can hope for now is another scandal from another Senate D - this time with a GOP Gov.

If Franken does not resign, Moore isn't going to see a minute of "grilling".

Franken will be gone tomorrow.

Question: Who’s going to do the grilling? If I were Moore, I’d sit before each elitist pig on whatever kangaroo tribunal they assemble and answer every question with a question, like “Thank you for the question senator. Now what about you and the unsubstantiated rumors that state you were snorting cocaine off the breast of one of your staffers in 1998?” Get the dirt and just fight the living sh!+ out of these hypocrite pigs.

I would think when they come up proof of the accusation he would need to respond....otherwise tell them to take a hike.

Senate Ethics Committee Members. Time to start trolling THEM and start tossing THEIR skeletons out of the closets.

The very title “Senate Ethics Committee” is somewhat oxymoronic. Sort of like “House Intelligence Committee”.

But I doubt Franken is willing to "take one for the team" and resign.

Unless Hollywood is incentivizing him with a multi-film deal.

In the past, every ethics complaint has been for acts done while a Senator. So Senator Moore's first step would be to file an ethics complaint against whatever idiot Senators are trying to make up rules to harass him.

He should be armed with a long list of things currently elected Senators did before they were elected. Franken might be gone but as an example I believe he wrote about snorting cocaine in SNL days. I'm sure lots of Senators have known things they did.

He can present that list and say "I'm last in line. Let me know when you get done with this list."

It doesn’t make any difference. The Democrats will throw Moore in the face of every Republican candidate for the House and the Senate. “Do you support Senator Moore?” “Do you agree with him that all those women are liars?” Coming back with an answer like “I’m waiting for the Ethics Committee to complete their work before deciding” isn’t going to wash. And they won’t be able to point to Conyers and Franken because both resigned in the face of numerous calls to do so from their Democrat colleagues.

Don’t worry. Senator Flake will do the honors. He’s already paid for the right with that $100 check to Doug Jones.

There is no evidence on Roy Moore UNLIKE THE SECRET CONGRESSIONAL PAYOUT FUND. The only evidence Allred refuses to have it examined. Proof that it is Bull$hit.

How come McConnell and Ryan have not requested all those guilty on the secret congressional payout fun revealed if they are so moral???

They have no case what so ever.

“All we can hope for now is another scandal from another Senate D...”

I’d be surprised to see any scandal before Moore’s election. More likely the word has gone out: “no more “D” bad news for the next week.”

iow - NOTHING should distract from the anti-Moore narrative.

Really good point—Moore should demand to see the payout list and tell the Senate he will release it on the Internet if they even mention the topic...

Sure he is. Moore is going to face a gantlet of Senators who have actual evidence and who have never committed any acts of impropriety themselves. That number could be as high as zero.
