Steve Bannon went on a tear against Mitt Romney while campaigning in Alabama for Roy Moore tonight.
Romney drew a line in the sand yesterday saying that Moore in the Senate would be “a stain on the GOP and on the nation”:

The Mormons I know are good decent upstanding people. They strike me as usually behaving better than most of the membership of older Denominations.
I don't think his being Mormon is the problem. I think the problem is he is an elite country club Rockefeller Republican who is out of touch with middle America. He is Cloud folk to we Dirt people.

Mostly true, but Mormons are all in for illegal immigration which allows them to bring their “newly minted members” here from Mexico where Mormons are the second largest denomination. I mean just look at what Flake is doing. I would say that I do hope that Orrin Hatch decides to run again, because between Hatch and Romney, I’ll take Hatch in a heartbeat. I don’t believe that there is an alternate to Romney in Utah at this time, and if Hatch retires, say hello to Senator Romney.
Fire one and see what happens.
