Well, all Hannity did was break this same news, nothing added to it.
Isn’t he in SF’s custody until the 14th? It will be interesting to see if they turn him over. Will someone be charged with failing to enforce a federal warrant?
SF would have released him if not for the publicity of this case. They may honor the ICE detainer now. We shall see.
They could use the first charge to help clean up alot of Democrat cities.

Correct. He's screwed on this one. It's really a matter of what he pleas to. I believe he's been indicted on three counts, which each carry a 10 year max. He'll probably plead to one count and they'll dismiss two of them.

Oh, I believe it. I use to have an office in downtown SF and the place was always crawling with federal law enforcement of different types.

Probably the same protections on double jeopardy applies to Illegals. But, as others have said, this is NOT double-jeopardy because one set of charges are state, and the other is federal - and according to the Supreme Court, that means it is NOT double-jeopardy.
I guess if the federal charges also fail, we can refer him to the World Court, then the Solar System Court, then the Galaxy Court, and then the Universe Court. Eventually either some court will convict him or he’ll run out of money (or spaceship fare) to pay his bills.
In other words, Supreme Court or not, it sure as heck sounds like double jeopardy and I’d like to see the court reverse itself here - but not until AFTER we put that a-hole in jail.
Simple solution for Trump on DACA. Give all invaders a thirty day deadline to self deport and apply for visa from Home...or... face felony prosecution and deportation with a LIFETIME ban on returning. Any caught here illegally should be advised that any future attempts to re-enter would be dealt with harshly. Any violent crime would be treated as a terroristic act.
Obama would have let him get away with it.

He could also look into what this bozo got himself up to all those years growing up in Mexico, and when he partially pays his debt to American society, he can go back and pay his debt to Mexican society. Bad job, getting away with murder.
The federal charges will be different than the ones in the SF trial.
