On Monday, the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal published an op-ed calling for Mueller to resign from the probe.
WSJ reports:
The Washington Post and the New York Times reported Saturday that a lead FBI investigator on the Mueller probe, Peter Strzok, was demoted this summer after it was discovered hed sent anti- Trump texts to a mistress. As troubling, Mr. Mueller and the Justice Department kept this information from House investigators, despite Intelligence Committee subpoenas that would have exposed those texts. They also refused to answer questions about Mr. Strzoks dismissal and refused to make him available for an interview. [ ]
The latest news supports our view that Mr. Mueller is too conflicted to investigate the FBI and should step down in favor of someone more credible. The investigation would surely continue, though perhaps with someone who doesnt think his job includes protecting the FBI and Mr. Comey from answering questions about their role in the 2016 election.
Unlike the mainstream media, The Gateway Pundit has long believed the chief objective behind Special Counsel Robert Muellers Russia investigation is to nullify the results of the 2016 presidential election. In fact, while both liberals and conservatives declared the honorable, highly respected, Mueller was the correct man to lead the Russia probe, this website expressed deep reservations about the special counsels character and history as a prosecutor.

Have they finally figured out that they lost?
Much as I wish that were true, we can’t be complacent here. God knows, they’ve pulled a fast one on us before...
I’ll believe that this is real when Mueller/Rosenstein/et al are INVESTIGATED by an independent Department of Justice.
Headed by a COMPETENT Attorney General...
Well, this will piss Ryan and McConnell off
Too Conflicted to Fail
Resigning will not be satisfactory. He and all of the Clinton lawyers MUST go to prison for trying a bloodeless coup. At the LEAST, prison much eventually be the consequence for all of them.
Mueller would say “Resign? Why should I resign, when I’m feeling like the biggest Rock Star eva?!”
This is the signal that they're beginning to realize what is about to happen to them.
"To" is incorrect. "should" would be the correct word to use.
Send in a squad of Marines to tell the deep state traitor Mueller to resign or else. Mr. Mueller, a Marine veteran, will clearly understand what the consequences of “or else” means.
You get line of the day!!
Im about to declare my support for keeping Mueller. The fool is being shanghai-ed and its beginning to pay off.
That rules out Jeff Sessions.
Circling the wagons. Turn off the Mueller Investigation but fail to investigate Hillary, Obama, etc...
If Strzok was subpoenaed, who cares if the FBI didnt make him available.
Send the US Marshals after the guy and haul him in.
It should be up to him to show up or not. And face the consequences if he doesnt.
for later
The WSJ editorial is behind a paywall. Anyone know where I can read it?
THAT'S right !
Easy for you to say, with your SQL command line access y’all have....
That made me smile.
