Back when, if you saw someone having an argument, by themselves, they were schizophrenic. Now, they have a Bluetooth bud in their ear. If someone is having a LOUD, one-sided conversation, in public, it's a better than 85% chance he/she/it is black.
No big deal, if they want to share a personal crisis with the world. I suppose not letting the rest of the people in line at Walmart know that your chipped card didn't work is a part of White Privilege.
However, cops HAVE noticed this, too. The only drivers more compelled to text while behind the wheel are teenage girls... They cannot, in any way, shape or form, ignore a ringing phone, ever. It has to be answered, INSTANTLY, or they will suffer some massive cerebral detonation...

Well, it wasn’t meant as such. I was mistaken. I don’t recall it being a primary, but I have seen “click it or ticket” weekends that are usually advertised. They can pull you over for just about anything, I guess.
Every single time someone is driving too slow and holding up traffic I see it turns out to be because they are texting when I finally work up to pass. Extremely rude and irritating, makes me want to start filming them but I can’t because I’m a focused driver.
Some texting makes driving SAFER.
Texting is not absolute.
If it was the Big State would not text on large electronic highway signs.
Big State texting = Good guys
Citizen texting = Bad guys
Moron @$$holes where I live seem to think that because they’re sitting at a light they’re not “driving”, and end up sitting through half the green light because they’re looking down at their phones.
I am a good driver, no accidents that are my fault in over 40 years behind the wheel.
That said, I tried texting while driving once, and realized right away that I was not paying proper attention to the road. I have told all of my family and friends - I might read a text while in motion (mostly to stop the dang phone from buzzing) but I’m not going to answer until I am stopped somewhere. It’s just too dangerous.
If you have to Text, pull over to the side of the road & stop to do it!
IF YOU DRIVE & TXT AT THE SANE TIME, YOU DESERVE AN COSTLY TRAFFIC TICKET!
