Did a Republican Senator Just Suggest Comey is Under Criminal Investigation?

As The Hill‘s Mallory Shelbourne wrote Sunday, former FBI Director James Comey is back in the spotlight after one of the Bureau’s top agents investigating Hillary Clinton’s emails was caught sending anti-Trump text messages to a colleague. Mueller fired the agent, Peter Strzok, from the special counsel’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

“Peter Strzok, is considered one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators,” claimed the New York Times.

During an appearance on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” Senator Lindsey Graham suggests Comey is under criminal investigation.

Graham said he did not agree with Trump’s description of the bureau, but said Comey will have to answer for decisions he made during his time helming the FBI.

Trump fired Comey in May, in a decision that triggered the appointment of Mueller to take over the federal investigation into Russia’s election meddling and its possible collusion with the Trump campaign.

“I think he made some decisions that were really very, very wrong,” Graham told host John Dickerson regarding Comey. “There’s an ongoing criminal investigation; Comey may be part of it. You tweet and comment regarding ongoing criminal investigations at your own peril. I’d be careful if I were you, Mr. President. I’d watch this.”

Some observers expect Comey to face more questions about his time leading the FBI investigation.

The curious comment comes after President Trump expressed frustration with the media’s coverage of Flynn’s guilty plea and the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s emails.

“I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!”

“Tainted (no, very dishonest?) FBI “agent’s role in Clinton probe under review.” Led Clinton Email probe. @foxandfriends Clinton money going to wife of another FBI agent in charge,” tweeted President Trump.

“After years of Comey,

Explanation as to what the investigation could be:

Greg Jarrett called James Comey the most “insufferable, self-righteous person…I’ve ever covered…and he’s committed a myriad of crimes’. Legal expert Jarrett was addressing the revelation that an FBI agent who led the Clinton and Russia collusion probes was provably anti-Trump and pro-Hillary.

Email exchanges between him and another agent in the probe exposed his bias. Mueller demoted him in July and then hid the fact from Congress.

Former FBI director Comey has been tweeting sanctimonious, haughty quotes of people who are actually honorable. As Jarrett says, that is far from what Comey is.

Comey stole government documents and gave them to someone who was not authorized to see them. That is a crime, Jarrett says.

Jarrett added that it completely undermines the Russia collusion investigation, an investigation that was already undermined by the actions of the investigators themselves, Jarret explained.

The agent was dismissed in July but there is evidence the probes were a set up. The media is trying to portray the agent’s demotion as proof of Mueller’s honorable handling of the case. However, Mueller hid it for six months and that is obstruction of justice.

Jarrett agrees Flynn’s indictment is proof of nothing.

This could be the ‘tick-tock’ Hannity was tweeting about yesterday.

“I want the American people to know this truth: The FBI is honest. The FBI is strong. And the FBI is, and always will be, independent.” Me (June 8, 2017),” Comey tweeted.

Meanwhile, the head of the investigation into HRC’s email situation was a Hitlery supporter who exchanged texts bashing Trump with his extramarital lover.

That honest, strong, and independent?

The entire Clinton/Trump investigations are tainted now. This is the equivalent of the police body cam showing them plant evidence: EVERYTHING they touch is now in question.

This is why Flynn was offered a sweetheart deal and rushed in to plead. Flynn took the deal because his son was in real legal jeopardy. The deal cleared Flynn’s son and was for the crime of lying to the F.B.I. Since what he allegedly lied about was not a crime, Flynn might have just taken the fall without being guilty just to end the (1) danger to his son legally and (2) bleeding of hundreds of thousands for his legal defense.

Last week we saw liberals celebrate the exoneration of a murderer becuase the perp was an ‘oppressed racial minority’ and the victim white. Within a day they were then celebrating the conviction of lifelong Democrat Flynn who has 40 years+ service to his country. Celebrating it becuse he dared be a Trump supporter during the election and serve for Trump less than a month during the transition.

Email exchanges between him [Strzok] and another agent [Lisa Page] in the probe exposed his bias.

Strzok. Liar. Carried on affair with another FBI agent. Misappropriated funds to pay for the fake Trump Dossier.

The NYTimes is right, Strzok is one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators. He’s ready for a promotion to the level of the corrupt FBI leadership.

Let’s all hope this goes somewhere and Comey finds himself in much deeper water which he will NOT be able to swim out of.

Too bad Mueller isn’t in that same water (yet).
