Lowell Hawthorne, who emigrated to the US from Jamaica and founded a restaurant franchise chain with 120 locations in nine states, committed suicide Saturday night in his Bronx factory.

I eat them every week. It is juicy and delicious. Very delicious.
Me too. Thanks to all those big pharma egg heads doing all that R&D. Monoclonal antibodies - Wow. Thanks big pharmaceuticals from me, my family. 8 year now and so far still clear of disease. I had many people offer their folk cures to a very fast cancer. Had I listen to just one, I would have died in weeks at that time. I think one was peach pits - I kid you not.
If I knew it truly was the end, I can understand that response. Cancer that is progressing on top of chemo/radiation would be painful, sickening, hopeless ....
Here’s the answer,

If it is a crime, it has a very low recidivism rate.
Only if successful...
Jamaican Beef Patties. More like a burrito, shaped like an old Hostess pie.
Very tasty.
Very sorry...
I have all the compassion in the world, and I apologize if that wasn't clear. I was simply trying to empathize with "left that other site".
I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel in the aftermath of a spouse's suicide...

I think the vaulted Peach Pits killed Steve McQueen.
May your Remission continue until you die from laughing too hard remembering Election Night 2016 on your 100th Birthday.
You never know what’s around the next corner.
Both of my closest Childhood Friends died at age 61 from Heart problems.
When I was diagnosed with Cancer I thought the day would come when they would be standing in front of some people saying nice things about me over my Casket and I’m the one still here.
We just found out that an old Neighbor of ours committed Suicide five years ago.
His Wife and 13 Year Old Daughter were left to pickup the pieces.
He apparently had been wrestling with deep Depression. They had bought a new house in an upscale Neighborhood and were doing well, at least that’s what it looked like from the outside.
He was a nice fellow who always organized the Neighborhood activities, especially around the Holidays. Still hard to imagine he would take that final step, but Mental Illness knows no bounds.
Those not suffering from it can only speculate.
I am sorry for you. I can’t imagine.
FR was there for me when it happened seven years ago. I love this place.
Me too.
And I hope yours stays away forever. 4 - 3 month chemotherapies is a tough row to hoe. Glad it’s responded and the recovery has gone well also. To this day there are smells and feelings (yes men have those) that set my memory off to that unplesentness but it has gotten less. May you live long and more importantly well.
I’ll wish Spock’s wisdom upon you, Live Long and Prosper. #;^)
