“I served in the U.S. Marine Corps and I performed in multiple war exercises.”

Semper Fi, Marine.

My comment was to indicate, contrary to the sensationalized article, the forces in theater are not nearly enough to suggest war preparation.

Only when we see several multiples of the listed forces moving would war prep be underway.

Did you ride any ships in PacFlt?

I was in the Air Wing (MASS - Marine Air Support Squadron) and spent much of my time in the Mojave Desert with C-130s (Gallant Eagle and similar exercises). I maintained a DASC (Direct Air Support Center) and we would put our vans into the belly of C-130s and support the exercises including directing bombers to their targets. So no ship duty for me but I earned my flight pay.

Thanks for clarifying your comment. If we were going to war in Korea, I trust that our military will put the proper resources into play.
