That model is not showing very much in the way of stealth. Twin-armed Sam lancher, forward gun turret & exposed deck fittings. That thing won’t have a lot of radar return, but it’s not nearly as stealthy as some ships that have been in service for quite some time.

“Nuke them from space. It’s the only way to be sure.”
It is my understanding that these radar reflecting surfaces are easily punctured. Light armor is just that.

“it will be equipped with high-tech vessels that will be almost invisible to enemy radar and “

I suppose that will later explain those “almost” holes when they do the after action reports from their mini-subs trying to understand what happened?

People here will sit back and whine about Russia constantly developing the next generation of weapons, but won’t do a damn thing to push the US to try to match them.

Wreaking havoc against who? They are building them to sell them.

These little ships will ensure Russian control of the Black Sea.

They are not big enough for blue water operations, but in the Black Sea they will be deadly and dominant. Especially when teamed with modern DE subs.

Once deployed, the only time you will see a US Navy ship in the Black Sea is if Russia decides to allow it. That’s essentially the case now, but this will provide a far greater level of enforcement.

We need a dozen in the Med and another 1/2 dozen in the Persian Gulf.

What effect will it have upon an alien invader?

They should stop screwing around trying to copy everyone else in a pissing contest.

Wreaking havoc? What does that even mean? Do our carriers wreak havoc in the Pacific by just being there? Or is it more like giving Obama a Nobel prize for doing nothing?
