Is it likely they will be sued by some traders or institutions that bought right before the drop? That would sure p!ss me off - it recovered but not completely.
Even Brian Stelter called him out for it on twitter.
ABC, and the media in general, have been responsible for false reporting for years! It's only gotten worse in the last nine and a half years!

I suppose this little episode proves one thing... there still are some people that listen to what the LSM says and to some extent, I guess they believe it. I didn’t think that there was a single person anywhere who put any stock in what they say at all... I guess I have to admit to living in my own bubble and echo chamber (as the LSM idiots on CNN are apparently fond of saying).

ABC/NBC has too many ‘insiders’ in Washington as they are the ‘Demorats’ base media megaphone..... Loved and adores the Clinton/Obama machinery and part of it. So their antics aren’t going to stop any time soon.
ABC and CNN have caused such harm to this nation the true cost is incalculable.
Trump should declare both terrorist organisations and shut down both. Their leaders must then be tried for treason .
Holding the reporter named on the byline to be the only oversight is a serious mistake. It is the editor-in-chief and his minions that hold the blue pencil whose job it is to correct and shape the copy submitted. They are the truth brigade that needs to be chastened when an error of this magnitude is allowed to leak through. They hold the reputation of the publisher in their hands.
IMHO.
