Battling cities and states over sanctuary policies is going to be a long, tedious process that will outlast both terms of Trump's presidency and will end the second a Democrat takes the White House.

Build the wall - once that physical fact is on the ground, there is no removing it. Get funding for border guards to man that wall and their government union will join the lobbying to make sure that funding for manpower on the wall continues forever. The GOP can at least do this one thing to fulfill the expectations of the millions of conservatives they have betrayed repeatedly over the decades.

Why will it be a long and tedious process? We have the Supreme Court and we can hurt Sanctuary States and cities in the pocketbook.

I agree about the Wall. But I am more optimistic that we can turn the corner on this sanctuary lawlessness.
