But Fox News anchor and attorney Gregg Jarrett told the FOX Business Network’s Neil Cavuto this would not violate the Logan Act.
“No, it wouldn’t…Nobody’s ever been prosecuted under it. Why? Because the federal courts, especially a New York U.S. federal court, said in 1964 it’s unconstitutional,” Jarrett said.
....there is no crime in candidates such as Trump at the time reaching out to foreign governments.
“If candidate Trump had somebody reach out to the Russians or any foreign government during a campaign, where’s the crime? There’s no statute that makes that against the law,” he added.

In order to violate the Logan Act (if that's even possible, considering how vague the statute is), someone has to act against the interests of the United States in their foreign dealings.
Even if every allegation against Flynn and the entire Trump team is true, then what exactly was ever done against the interests of the United States?

I’m comforted by the fact that no Hillary in the White House means no more uranium or state secrets are going to the Kremlin. Th media and the swamp is trying to play a game of political chicken with the president. He is the one holding all the ace cards while these clowns have a pile of blank checks. Watching CNN it makes me realize how desperate they really are. They’re the ones perpetrating a lie and they know it, but they know it’s either them or the president who are going down for the count at the end of all this.

What’s interesting is Flynn’s involvement with the Turkish government seems worse but they apparently dropped that in lieu of just talking to Russians.
Why would the Trump campaign need the Russians to give them information on Hillary’s crimes and treason? Comey gave everyone more than enough, free of charge.
