This after the state court found them not guilty. They ended uyp being sentenced to two and a half years.
I imagine that there would be more than ten years for violating Miss Steinle's right to life as guaranteed in the constitution.

I feel for you. I used to live in NY. But, you guys really ought to get out of there - CA is never going to be rehabilitated. Your country could use your votes in more important states.

Have we seen any comments from the jury? I’d be interested to know what they were thinking. Perhaps they were seriously misled by the prosecution and/or court.

I feel for you for having ever lived in NY. At 77 I have no desire to leave CA because with all of it’s faults, it’s still the best place on the planet to live. Why don’t you send the Robinsons a post in Fresno and tell them just how sorry you feel for them too. I am sure that will do a lot to improve the way they regard you. Some people fold and let their places go to $hit without firing a shot, others stand and fight. CA is worth fighting for, I guess NY wasn’t.

Yeah, I mean once you get past the iron-fisted, one-party Marxist rule that’s so entrenched that it’s trying to form its own communist state...it’s really not a bad place to live!
Maybe at 77 you can’t do much in the way of math anymore, but maybe you should try to look at the numbers: CA is now a minority-majority state and the trend lines...well they don’t look so good either. What’s your plan - hang on to watch more Mexican aliens cranking out anchor baby citizens in hopes they’ll suddenly become Burkean conservatives? LOL
When you’re fighting a war - and that is what this is, you don’t get your forces wiped out defending strategically stupid territory. That’s why most of the good people with a clue have already left or are in the process of leaving.
