Rep. Joe Barton, whose private life came under national scrutiny after sexual images he shared in an extramarital relationship were made public, won’t seek re-election.
The Ennis Republican announced his retirement in an interview with The Dallas Morning News on Thursday, three weeks after saying he would seek an 18th term.
"I’ve always listened to people in Texas and worked for them in Washington, and I’ve been listening to a lot of people the last week in Texas," he said. "...There are enough people who lost faith in me that it’s time to step aside and let there be a new voice for the 6th district in Washington, so I am not going to run for re-election."

If you saw the picture he texted you would know why he apologized. His belly is so big he probably can’t even see his own dinger. And he thinks a picture like that is a turn on for a woman?? Anyone who texts a picture like that to a woman doesn’t deserve to be in politics - anywhere.
Nope. It was assault porn to text her the picture. It was that gross. I can’t imagine any woman being turned on by a picture of a guy who’s belly is so big he can’t see his own ding-a-ling.
The revenge porn thing is so messed up, it attempts to deal with a problem at a level above root cause. That will NEVER fix the problem. Root cause cure;

Whether single, married, divorced, or separated, a member of Congress should not be sending photos in cyberspace of his week whacker.
It really is a prerequisite of the job. They already get sleazily rich in Congress. We shouldn’t have to provide them with better hookup abilities too. How much can the taxpayer stand?

When the wacker (as in Barton) is partially obscured under a yoga ball of chub, it would necessarily be weak in ability. So you were correct.
