Take a shot of your favourite distilled beverage every time Bernie says, “Fair Share.”
The Socialists (Bernie and Maria) against the Americans (Ted and Tim). I’d say the Americans Won!
When do I get my fair share of Vermont lake houses?
You’d have to take a dive for Hillary.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"The smart crooks long ago figured out that getting themselves elected to federal office to make unconstitutional tax laws to fill their pockets is a much easier way to make a living than robbing banks." me
"Federal career lawmakers probably laugh all the way to the bank to deposit bribes for putting loopholes for the rich and corporations in tax appropriations laws, Congress actually not having the express constitutional authority to make most laws where domestic policy is concerned. Such laws are based on stolen state powers and uniquely associated stolen state revenues." me
A great step in the right direction to tax code reform is to front-end a constitutional Article I, Section 8-compliant tax code with a 1040EZ that all citizens can use.
But the ultimate tax code reform includes repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments (16 & 17A) imo. And patriots will need to elect new faces to Congress in the 2018 elections that will be willing to express-lane a ConCon for that specific purpose.
For those patriots concerned about a possible overthrow of the country by a pirated ConCon, note that the product of a ConCon is never a new amendment to the Constitution, but a proposed amendment that the states can either reject or ratify.
In the meanwhile, patriots need to support Pres. Trump in working with their state lawmakers to sell them on the idea of repealing 16 & 17A by pointing out the following.
Once 16 & 17A are gone, the states will probably find a tsunami of new revenues (higher state taxes) that they wont know what to do with, ultimately depending on what a states legal voters want.
For starters, the states can establish their own custom healthcare and retirement programs, increase funding for public schools, police and fire departments, and repair infrastructure.
Patriots now need to finish the job that they started in the 2016 elections by electing Trump president. Patriots should be making sure that there are plenty of state sovereignty-respecting, Trump-supporting patriot candidates on the 2018 primary ballots and pink-slip career lawmakers by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to D.C. on election day.
Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!
