I suppose some members of “white America” have done things in it’s history that require a degree of shame, it’s up to how much “guilt trip” you carry.
But, I’m not - nor will I ever be ashamed to be white. In fact, I’m glad I was born white. I would hate to know that every trouble I’ve ever had in my life was the fault of my skin color.
When people have a “get out of jail free” card, they never grow into honest, responsible adults. They have the “daddy will get me out of this”, spoiled child attitude all their life.
This Texas “student” is obviously ashamed of his/her color - no matter what it is. Instead of worrying about what kind of person someone is, seems the only whine and grievance these days is “color persecution”.
Failing, with someone to blame - the latest trend being white people - is becoming commonplace due to the weak-knees of today’s crop of liberals.
It’s my observation that most whites are just trying to live their lives, and make-do as best they can...but there’s a lot of “persons of color” who just bitch because the whites won’t give them all their possessions and then some.
So, here I sit, not knowing if I’m an “abomination”, or if I am “privileged”....hell, it’s something different every time you put a liberal in front of a word processer.

Having visited South Africa several times...including recently...I can guarantee that the country hasn't been purged of whites.
But I can also guarantee that the "white" suburb of Johannesburg ("Sandton") where we stayed when not on "safari" featured 20 foot high concrete walls,barbed wire and armed guards.
