The Chinese state outlet, Global Times, which typically takes an aggressive tone in covering the United States, declared on Wednesday that President Donald Trump and the U.S. policy on North Korea had failed, citing Pyongyangs latest missile test.
(At press time, the article is not available at its original Global Times link, though it remains accessible in Googles cache history.)
North Koreas Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced late Tuesday that dictator Kim Jong-un had personally directed the launching of a new model of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), named Hwasong-15, and that he declared the test a success.
China is North Koreas largest trading partner, ensuring that the Kim regime continues to possess the funds necessary for its illegal weapons development. Beijing claims it has abided by international sanctions and that American aggression against North Korea is to blame for current tensions.
Its fair to say that US policy on North Korea has failed, and so has the policy of President Donald Trump, the Times declared on Wednesday. Specifically, the Times complains that Trump heightened the pressure on North Korea at the wrong time, intensifying the tensions on the peninsula almost to the utmost, leaving little space for diplomatic maneuvering.

Well that means China won’t help. Hope they enjoy a huge influx of starving refugees. Looks like war. Very sad state of affairs. Unless the Chinese are playing a game here.
Trump has tried to give coercion diplomacy a chance to work. He gave China and other nation the chance to get North Korea to come to it’s senses. It hasn’t worked. That does not mean Trump has failed. It merely means that Trump has now moved along a “must-try” timeline that clears the way for what comes next.
We are going to wake up one morning and North Korea is going to be in a shambles. It may get messy, but it won’t be as messy as it would be five years from now, if we had to take action then.
That we have come to this point in time, almost demands that Clinton, Bush, and Obama be brought up on charges.
It is unconscionable that they punted this building nuclear confrontation on down the road to the point that the United States is now under the threat of EMP or Nuclear attack on the mainland of the nation.
One day I hope the people of this nation realize how badly we have been sold out by these three presidents. And yes, we need to toss in Jimmy Carter, the most foolish global visionary and negotiator in U. S. history.
Keep playing Red China and you can kiss your economy good bye!!
I have good information from people on the ground in South Korea. They are not worried about North Korea attacking them. They feel it is all media hype.
bloody hell
The Russian ambassador to the UN said almost the same thing today. ...Trump has put on too much pressure....he needs to move back from military maneuvering... it’s Trump’s fault Rocket Man is increasing testing...etc.
This to me this means it’s working. I hope a military blockade of NK is next. Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze.
Trump won’t start a war. Makes him a murderer. We will shoot down a missile an the Norks will start it.
is your friend.
Post and donate FRiend :)
Let’s put a 40% tariff on Chinese imports...
Maybe a marine blockade of China will be a success.
Isn’t Obama over there right now? Starting trouble?
Good post, they are not leaving Him much choice.
Indeed he is.
CHINA TARIFFS NOW
Communist China is threatening the USA with nuclear weapons.
Thanks easternsky. No, they aren't giving him much of a chance choice.
I agree. Some serious ‘’shock and awe’’ is needed on Fat Boys a$$. What are the Norks going to do, storm across the border? Yeah, they might. If that one who came across last week is any indication they aren’t going to be in the mood for fighting. They’re starving. They’ll be looking for food.
