President Trump dredged up a notorious old mystery with his latest bomb at NBC, citing the bizarre death 16 years ago of a young female staffer in the office of then-congressman and current “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough.
The story of Lori Klausutis has dogged Scarborough on the Internet since she was found dead in his Florida district office on July 19, 2001. Although Scarborough was out of town — and the medical examiner later ruled she had died after falling and hitting her head on a desk — conspiracy theorists have long speculated, with no reliable evidence, that Scarborough could have been somehow involved in Klausutis’ death. And now the president appears to be joining in.
“So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of [MSNBC president] Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!” Trump tweeted.
... The local medical examiner eventually said that an “undiagnosed heart condition” contributed to her death that was ruled “an accident,” according to The Hotline, a now-defunct political newsletter.
“She was near unconsciousness as she was falling… because she did nothing to protect herself,” the medical examiner said. “[She] hit a desk with the side of her head.”

He and his wife are neck-deep in pay-to-play media buyoffs.
Look up a “non-partisan issues group” called Patriot Farmers of America, run by his wife, with the kid on the payroll, as well!

Yeah, if I had a nickel for every time a young female coworker collapsed in my office and died from hitting her head on my desk ... hmmm. Well it's never happened to me but young women die around congressmen and senators all the time, nothing unusual at all about it.
The story was out of the media nearly over night. It always smelled bad to me.
I hate it when young, attractive female staffers fall down, hit their heads on a desk and die. Too much of that going around.

Yes. Politicians are known to be the worst humans on earth.

Difference is, she was ejected. Joe’s girl allegedly fell over. With any type of syncope, there is typically some effort to gain support or reach out before blacking out. If not, simple fainting episodes would be resulting in a lot more deaths. Also true for cardiac conditions. I think it’s rare to completely collapse instantly and die from the impact. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but I am skeptical.
