I think is was a demonstration of retaliatory power but not a counter attack.
Mattis (live) said South Korea fired several missiles back into the sea off the coast of Korea. Don’t know how far off the coast.
THAT is the big news... South Korea fired back.
I would think that retaliation action could, should, draw the US into heightened action in the sea.
