President Trump on Monday took a hit at Sen. Elizabeth Warren during an event honoring Native American veterans.
"You were here long before any of us were here,” Trump said to the three Navajo veterans who helped the U.S. Marine Corps develop a secret code during World War II. “Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her Pocahontas.”
Trump told the veterans he asked White House Chief of Staff John Kelly just how good the code talkers were.
'He said, ‘sir, you have no idea. You have no idea how great they were.’”
Warren slammed the president over the “racial slur” moments after he made it.
“It is deeply unfortunate that the president of the United States can’t even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without throwing out a racial slur,” the Massachusetts senator said during an appearance on MSNBC shortly afterward.
“This was supposed to be an event to honor heroes, people who put it all on the line for our country,” Warren continued, adding that the code talkers "saved the lives of countless Americans and our allies."
Trump has repeatedly used the term ‘Pocahontas’ to refer to Warren, who falsely claimed to be Native American until she became a tenured Harvard professor.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended Trump's remark, saying it was not a racial slur.
“I think what most people find offensive is Sen. Warren lying about her heritage to advance her career," she told reporters.

Good heavens, with all due respect, tighten it up, Mr President.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think there may be a purpose to it: He may be trying to push the ball forward to get her the hell out of office, publicize how she lied, expose her as a fraud and it seems to be working because just about every news organization now is putting a spotlight on Warren and why Trump called her Pocahontas. All the attention given to the sex offenders the past month, let’s go after the frauds next and other crooks, drain the swamp.
There are lots of fake Indians out there. When the government started giving the Indians money, the fake ones suddenly came out of the woodwork like roaches.
My own family has claimed a “Genuine Cherokee Indian Princess” for as long as I can remember, yet a close look at out past shows none.

I've been waiting all my life for a Republican to tell his enemies to go to Hell and fight fire with fire. The fact is that Warren is a total fraud. She lied about her heritage, and she's a con artist about standing up for the common man, when she became a millionaire flipping houses.
These Democrats need to be exposed for their decades of hypocrisy, lies, and double-standards.

Lieawatha is going to keep getting this treatment until she comes clean that she lied about being an Indian.

Sometimes I think the President simply loves and thrives on the drama he creates. It is as if he cannot help himself.
Trump looks at the lib world as a target rich environment. We forget there was a time when he was an insider before he saw the light.
President Trump is awesome-funny.

Somehow his carrying out this particular hit in the presence of the Code Talkers—admittedly FULL OF SOLEMN GRAVITAS—makes it even funnier.
The man is a genius.
And sometimes it seems that he uses the drama like a scalpel, carving strips off the opposition, exposing them and maddening them with rage while they weaken from blood loss. All in the eyes of the beholder I guess.
In Trump's hand the Liberal world and the Establishment is a target rich environment! And he has plenty of bullets for his guns.

1. People there had nothing to do with Warren, using them as props is tacky.
2. Calling out somebody puts you level with them — why elevate Warren over the sea of lunatics hoping to go against Trump in 2020, huddling under the spectre of another Hillary Clinton run? Let them wallow in obscurity, outdueling each other further out of the mainstream — don’t give them any mention.

Oh my, that was way too funny. I could barely keep it together after Trump said what he said.
This is ridiculous. The Left uses acidic sensitivity while throwing around false racism charges to advance their agenda. They’re big boys and girls, they can handle the word pocahontas. The sun will rise tomorrow.
