(CNN)When Nancy Pelosi sat down for an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd on Sunday, she had to know that he was going to ask her about embattled Michigan Rep. John Conyers. After all, allegations from a number of former female staffers that the veteran Democrat had sexually harassed them were all over the news. All of which makes Pelosi's trainwreck of an answer on Conyers that much worse. Here's her exchange with Chuck: TODD: So, define zero tolerance. You said there's now a zero tolerance.
PELOSI: Yes. TODD: John Conyers. What does that mean for him? Right now. In or out? PELOSI: We are strengthened by due process. Just because someone is accused -- and was it one accusation? Is it two? I think there has to be -- John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect women -- Violence Against Women Act, which the left -- right-wing -- is now quoting me as praising him for his work on that, and he did great work on that. But the fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don't, I believe he will do the right thing. Later in the same interview, Pelosi returns to the idea that the details of Conyers' accusers are vague.

As her dementia progresses right in front of everybody, it becomes harder to give diversionary, noncommittal answers. Somebody no doubt had to tell her she stepped in it on this one. He’s an icon, alright- to the need for term limits.
Her rambling, disconnected thoughts and half sentences are very concerning. I am surprised no one in the MSM has even mentioned her apparent mix-ups and misstatements and sometimes even vegging out in front of the cameras..............
Obviously they don’t know a “master legislator” when they see one.
When it comes to Democrats sexual wrongdoing’s Pelosi says “we must move forward”, when it comes to Republican Moore’s so-called sexual predators, “we must listen to the victims”.
She is such a joke.
I squirmed just listening to that...creepy.
She looked like she was senile.
When even someone as typically clueless as Chris Cillizza understands that Pelosi made a massive mistake, it’s pretty clear that Pelosi made a massive mistake.
Remember that Conyers lawyer put out the word that if they drive out John Conyers, he will expose other Congress critters and take them down with him. THAT is why crazy Nancy twisted herself into knots on this. She did not slip up she is saving the bacon of many of her swamp creature minions.
A catatonic seizure and foamy drool event is coming soon. And they won’t be able to suppress it like they did with FDR’s paralysis, JFK’s Hodgkin’s disease and adultery, degenerate LBJ pulling out “Jumbo” for female staff and reporters, the Clinton Death and Rape lists, or Obama’s membership in a Chicago men’s club for buggery.
“Wow...this is from Cnn.”
don’t get too excited: it’s part of the overall Democrat-approved process to edge Nancy out - they know Nancy is a terrible face for the Democrat Party and they also know that she’s becoming more and more senile as each day passes.
Nancy Pelosi, in vain search of a coherent thought. Shes a train wreck.
Even on Brian Willams msnbc last night they were all over the pelosi comment. They will never get rid of her, even as she is spewing her dying breath in the halls of congress she will be grabbing the door jams trying to stay in office.
You will see her fingernail marks on the walls as they lower her lifeless body in her coffin.
what youve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.... I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. billy madison
