US/S. Korea/Japan need to do a live fire test of shooting that missile down. And then no one claim the action.
“Appears it just blew up.”

Pretty sure shooting down one of their missiles is an overt act of war...unless Japan seems like it’s in danger, of course.
Lasers ARE invisible though...sure does seem like a good opportunity to test out some new gear.

Or, let them fire the missile, and then pick it up off the ocean floor and examine it. Find out where the parts were made.

North Korea is not even worth wasting 1 bomb on ,oh wait ,a target range

Shoot it down, and then bomb the site it was launched from.

What if they attempt to intercept and it fails?

"What if they attempt to intercept and it fails?" And that is EXACTLY why it has not been done.

Why not just inform Beijing that it is OK if they test a couple on nukes on Pyongyang.

If DPRK nuking Japan constitutes WW III, it will be very, very short - about 35 minutes, all in.

That’s what I thought too.

Many people suspect Japan has nuclear weapons......................... I recall reading ten years ago or so that they had the basic technology ready and waiting if needed. I'm sure they're now in full nuclear mode.
To: Bernard Marx
As one Freeper so eloquently put it, Kapan can have a fully functioning nuke in twenty minutes and the Hello Kitty version on the market in a week!
