World War 3 fears: North Korea set for missile launch in ‘NEXT FEW DAYS’ warns Japan

North Korea has been threatening another launch following a series of provocative tests earlier this year.

Two missiles flew directly over Japanese territory, terrifying citizens and sparking a round of worldwide condemnations and sanctions.

And now despot Kim Jong-un could be set for yet another test - despite ever-strengthening warnings from his Western rivals.

One Japanese diplomat warned today radio signals detected from the hermit state indicated another test is close.

Japan's Kyodo news agency said the detection had been confirmed by government officials.

One official told them: “There is a possibility of missiles launches in the next few days.”

They said the test could be part of North Korea’s army’s winter training regime.

It comes after a former US admiral admitted he was “scared to death” by the situation on the peninsula.

Mike Mullen said: “It's still a very difficult place to know what's actually going on. I think Kim Jong-un is really working hard to achieve the nuclear capability.

"And I think he'll get there short of some deterrence.”

When asked whether nuclear weapons will be used, Mr Mullen replied: “I don't know. I think it's more probable than it used to be. And it scares me to death, quite frankly.

US/S. Korea/Japan need to do a live fire test of shooting that missile down. And then no one claim the action.

“Appears it just blew up.”

Pretty sure shooting down one of their missiles is an overt act of war...unless Japan seems like it’s in danger, of course.

Lasers ARE invisible though...sure does seem like a good opportunity to test out some new gear.

Or, let them fire the missile, and then pick it up off the ocean floor and examine it. Find out where the parts were made.

"What if they attempt to intercept and it fails?"

And that is EXACTLY why it has not been done.

Why not just inform Beijing that it is OK if they test a couple on nukes on Pyongyang.

If DPRK nuking Japan constitutes WW III, it will be very, very short - about 35 minutes, all in.

Many people suspect Japan has nuclear weapons.........................

I recall reading ten years ago or so that they had the basic technology ready and waiting if needed. I'm sure they're now in full nuclear mode.

As one Freeper so eloquently put it, Kapan can have a fully functioning nuke in twenty minutes and the Hello Kitty version on the market in a week!
