He is being attacked unmercifully on Twitter.

“Pelosi called Conyers an “icon” who deserves “due process.”

Judge Moore guilty just from the accusations.

Stepping down? He and others like him should be removed from office and their pensions docked accordingly. This is no punishment for Conyers and this remark by Pelosi is totally vacuous..."House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in statement about Conyers's decision to step aside stressed that “zero tolerance means consequences.”

“We must ensure the Congress has a climate of dignity and respect with zero tolerance,” she added.

We American citizens are to blame for electing these fatuous people to represent us....it is time to really push for term limits. If you can't verify your elected have done anything other than to vote yea or nay on important issues they promised they would do something on...immigration, abortion, security etc.....if they haven't voted according to their promises or what they stand for....don't vote them back into office.....it is this old guard that keep the younger, hopefully intelligent newcomers voted into office from doing something other than voting as they are told...imho...too much time is spent on Social Engineering like gays in the military, protesters, NFL, etc.

A real education starting from First grade with America first, our history and our successes as well as our failures.

If the swamp is ever going to be drained, anyone who collected money from that slush fund or even had knowledge of the slush fund should be gone.

Meanwhile, anti-Trump Republican slime are still talking about Roy Moore, assuming he's innocent until proven guilty.

We didn't know how bad the DC Swamp is. I figured that there was a small number of DC Republicans who hate their voting fodder, but would calm down once President Trump took office. They just keep getting worse. It seems that it's at least a majority of Republican US Senators who hate us.

..."zero tolerance means consequences.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Sunday refused to criticize Rep. John Conyers, a Michigan Democrat who has been accused of sexual harassment against former Capitol Hill staff. "We are strengthened by due process," Pelosi said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "John Conyers is an icon in our country. He's done a great deal to protect women," she added, citing the congressman's support for the Violence Against Women Act.

But his 80+ year old add is not stepping down from congress. Just a coveted position on a committee. He needs to leave D.C. Period.

The man drools at his desk, for Gods sake!

I am not that concerned about Conyers and the sexual scandal. I am concerned that members of Congress believe they are above the law, stealing tax payers money, abusing their positions and destroying the reputation of the United States. Not only should Conyers resign, he should be prosecuted un the law for embezzling federal funds to pay for his sexual encounters

“Rep. John Conyers Jr. (D-Mich.) announced he is stepping aside as the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee pending an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment.”

Well it’s a start!!!

“I deny these allegations, many of which were raised by documents reportedly paid for by a partisan alt-right blogger.

Why is it always the source of the information instead of the information provided by the source?

The fix must be in. No Democrat in recent memory ever stepped down or aside for anyone or anything unless it was purely for appearances or a move to a bigger end-game. I expect that the new ranking Democrat on his committee will be deferential to Conyers to the point of obsequiousness!

Ahhhh yes... ‘stepping down’ but not out, off, away, or anything else. He will still have all the perks. Reminds me of Senator Feinstein when it was revealed that she had been funneling BILLIONS of federal dollars to herself and her husband. She ‘stepped down’ as head of the committee she used to funnel all the taxpayer dollars, but she, of course, KEPT all the money, and the Senatorial perks.
Creepozoids All.
