Part of the problem we have these days, is that kids aren’t joining the work force in high school. They have no work ethic until later in life.
I do not want illegal foreign nationals in our nation.
As for low pay food jobs, you might be surprised the number of people who need to bring in a little more income into their household, to make things just a bit more comfortable.
There’s nothing wrong with these jobs, and not everyone needs to make top dollar with an extra job in the family.

“Finally, we have a by the book man in office.”
Exactly. If the libs don’t like it, tell them to change the laws.
Oh, I forgot! Most of America agrees with employer sanctions and fines and deporting illegals.
Right. And if we didn’t have all of the illegals taking jobs from Americans, those low-paying jobs would have to increase their wages to attract legal workers!
Either pay more for a hamburger by choice or pay more for illegals and the social services they require by force (taxes/obamacare/etc).
So the habibs are slave owners?
It’s about damn time.
I used to watch those “how’s it made” food shows on TV (when I had cable), and nothing would piss me off more than seeing these flyover country factories where all the managers where whitebread suburbanites, and Every. Single. One. of the workers were obviously South-of-the-Border ethnics.
Is Sysco the company involved? Their trucks are seen everywhere prepared food is sold, unloading that day’s food supply.
Sysco Corporation is an American multinational corporation involved in marketing and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, hotels and inns, and other food service and hospitality businesses.

Oh I prefer they go to the other nation of their choice, one they know is better than the U. S.
It has been my take, that raising the wages does not have the terrible effect some folks think it would.
In a restaurant you’re probably talking about two or three people a shift doing dishes and cooking in the back. That’s not going to cause an unmanageable rise in costs per shift, and a resultant rise in costs per meal.
