I’ve never been to Gatlinburg but pix and videos show a gorgeous place. It’ll take years for the area to look somewhat normal again.
We’ve only gotten a half inch of rain this month and it was in tiny increments. A tenth of an inch here, a couple hundredths there. They’re calling for only a 20% chance late next week and that usually counts us out of any rain. Maybe we’ll get lucky though.
I hope y’all get some rain soon too! Too bad your grass needs watering year-round.
I am surprised you haven’t been there. We drove up when we lived in GA, because they were predicting snow. But, as usual, “they” were wrong. But it was breathtaking and I’m glad we went. We also walked up Clingman’s Dome. Could NOT do that now. Then when we got to the top, it was so foggy, we couldn’t see all the stuff we were supposed to be able to. LOL!
Hope you get a decent rain soon. What you’ve had sounds more like the desert rather than TN!
