We don’t invite lefties to dinner or into our home. I started this when I turned 50, and I’m rapidly approaching 80!

Our leftie relatives get a full blown battle out of me if they try this crap. Also I insist that a prayer be said before the meal. That means we don’t do Thanksgiving together anymore.
I don’t miss them and Thanksgiving is celebrated in peace.
However, it was they who actually chose to quit coming, for we had such things as family prayers (we always did but since they became “enlightened,” they could no longer tolerate God and Jesus being our Guests of Honor, they just couldn’t stomach that any more, that and we all, to a person except the spoil sports, kept insulting Barack Hussein Obama, and then Hillary Rodam Clinton!)

My wife and I have life goals we work on every day. One is “no drama” and the only place we can control that is in our house. All of our friends and relatives know this because we told them “when they come to our house to leave the drama outside our front door.”
My wife was afraid this would offend people, but this quickly showed us the people who we wanted to associate with, friends or relatives.
