A CNN reporter is taking an online beatdown after an ill-advised tweet saying the media and entertainment industries are suffering a "drain of talent" because so many men are being ousted in disgrace over sexual harassment allegations.

When a democrat or other America-hater is outed, they squawk. Good. They started the “me too” crap, and it’s hitting leftists.

They all go home in disgrace? That would work for me. We knew it was bad when we learned what a sleazeball installed Speaker Hastert was. Is there anyone in DC who isn't compromised? I'm thinking that those who've suffered unfounded and orchestrated feeding frenzies are just about the only ones that aren't bought and paid for.

I started an Excel spreadsheet listing the offenders that I could think of at the moment. Two columns. Liberals/’Rats vs. GOP/Conservative. Moore is in the ‘Rats column, since he was one of ‘em when the offenses ALLEGEDLY occurred.

I’m thinking of Charlie Rose’s assistant especially, who was told numerous times about the harassment, but who just laughed it off and said, “That’s just Charlie.” The assistant is complicit, I believe. Ditto for the ladies who Weinstein used to ensnare his victims and knew exactly what they were doing.
I was wondering when complaints against Ellen, etc., will start rolling in.
This could have been spun in two other ways:
1) Women are avoiding media and entertainment because it is becoming increasingly obvious that "sleeping your way to the top" is a prevalent expectation of those in power, or
2) All the hetero power-trip pervs are being discouraged by the publicity, so all that will be left are gays. (But, as Kevin Spacey shows, that's no impediment to sexual abuse of underlings).
Or...... sleeping your way to the top is becoming more difficult thus depriving conniving women of an advancement avenue

Here is the irony as I see it:
To deny the validity of his statement is to say that those leaving the media/entertainment business
because of sex allegations are without talent and won't be missed.

Byers did what good observers do, he took a 30,000 foot flight over events and offered an objective perspective that is difficult to see in an environment where the rest of us can hardly keep up with the whack-a-mole scandals.
There is no question the events of the last 60 days are, to say the least, unprecedented. In its hundred year history, Hollywood has never been hit with a scandal even close to the size of this Harveywood fallout. I would further argue that if you add up every Hollywood scandal up till now, that pile would still be dwarfed by the last 60 days.
What is happening in the elite media is just as unprecedented, is Rathergate-times-ten.
