David Graham, a writer at The Atlantic, thinks it might not be a good idea to annoy your fellow Thanksgiving guests with discussions about politics. However, this year he is making an exception and is urging his fellow liberals to attempt reeducating the "unenlightened" Thanksgiving guests with a plethora of leftist talking points. Why? Because of President Donald Trump.
Here is Graham making the case for risking the ruination of your Thanksgiving dinner by injecting liberal politics into the conversations in Go Ahead, Talk Politics at Thanksgiving:

The writer reminds us that Barack Obama set the tone in 2013 by urging his followers to pressure their family members about Obamacare on Thanks Giving. Disrupting families at every opportunity.
Well, I read “Only by talking to relatives can you find out whether they hold dubious political positions (read: ones you disagree with, but also ones that are factually incorrect), and thus try to convince them to adopt your position,” and I am once again struck by the contempt that the left has for those who do not agree with them, even their own family members.

I am not quite so tolerant. I don’t invite libtards over at all, whether they be family or not.
I am thankful that there will be NO liberals at our Thanksgiving table. Heated political discourse, but no liberals.

Well if you’re a secular liberal, it’s kind of hard to give thanks because of two factors at least.
First, no God
Second, your side’s losing

Thank the REAL God that this kind of fatal irony is going to become more and more obvious as the days progress, as the light of God comes back on over America.
One example is what’s happening to Roy Moore and how it’s blowing back on those who are doing it. Is Roy perfect? No. As if any Christian was on this mortal coil. But that’s fading into virtual irrelevance now as the spiritual dust cloud settles.
Thanksgiving? How about Selfishsquabblesgiving?
With no God, it’s a celebration of turkeys.
It seems that when they acknowledge that this kind of low down crap is their main hope, that they realize they are dead men/women/trannies walking.
Who would they give thanks to....themselves?...dirt?

I now realize, being more and more of a robust believer, that it really was a vacuous concept without that context.
Yeah, they give thanks to themselves and to their idols.
And given the theories of evolution popular among modern secular scientists... I guess that dirt is a good candidate. Thank you, mud, for raising us up!
