It has not been a good week for serial groper Al Franken.
The Democratic senator from Minnesota is facing multiple bombshell accusations of unwanted groping and sexual misconduct against female reporters and constituents alike. Last week, Franken was accused of groping and kissing broadcaster Leeann Tweeden while on an overseas trip with her. An image of the groping was then released.
Franken issued an apology after the incident, saying:
“I certainly don’t remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way, but I send my sincerest apologies to Leeann. As to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t. I shouldn’t have done it.”
After this statement was met with widespread disgust, Franken’s office issued another, more detailed and lengthy apology.
On Monday, further allegations were leveled against Franken, this time by one of his constituents. Franken was accused by Lindsay Menz of sexual harassment at the Minnesota State Fair in 2010, where the senator allegedly copped a feel on her butt while taking a photo.
Franken’s office issued this brief statement on the incident:
I take thousands of photos at the state fair surrounded by hundreds of people, and I certainly don’t remember taking this picture. I feel badly that Ms. Menz came away from our interaction feeling disrespected.

Imagine what would happen if, from this day forward, conservative and alternative media would refer to all admitted/convicted sexual offenders as PREDATORS.

Your scare quotes around "feminists” provoked the thought that “masculinists” might be a better term for people who think women should be just like men.
Both selective memory and selective outrage are in play here. The area between Al Gropen’s, er, Franken’s ears is one of the more fetid cesspools that ever wrapped around human protoplasm.

While I’m happy Franken may soon be under the bus,Minnesotans can expect Gov. Crazy Eyes Dayton to appoint some other liberal loon to fill Franken’s seat. Minnesota’s milquetoast GOP needs to grow a pair and push for a special election. Best candidate Fox News commentator Pete Hegseth.
