See my Grandpa married my grandmother when she was 15, but we think he raped her, and consequently he sexually abused his own children. So I had assumed because of this marrying a 15 year old, even in the early 50s or late 40s, was not usual.

I watched a case up in a rural county in Missouri. A bastard had raped a 7 year old who almost bled to death. She was his girlfriend’s daughter. When the attorneys asked the jury pool members to raise their hand if they had a history of child sexual abuse in their family or in their own lives, probably half raised their hands.
