This quite liberal 22-year-old teaching assistant is being told that she has committed the sin of showing a video of an opinion that differs from the acceptable position and leaving it up to the the students to decide how they feel about it.
Those two things - showing the opinion And not immediately denouncing it - equal violence.

I wonder if The 22-year-old teaching assistant will re-think her liberal leanings following this fine example of tolerance and diversity of thought. Will they hoist her up on her own petard.

This type of banning of opinions and thought is growing in what is called higher “education.” You find it dominating all the required courses in liberal arts. It is thought and speech control rolled up in clever little code words. All opposition is vilified and labeled with hate and a cacophony of name calling.

I'm going to say something which many people would dismiss as hyperbole.
The kind of attitudes and thinking displayed by the people holding court over Miss Shepherd are like paving stones in a road.
A road which has been traveled multiple times in the past 100 years by various nations.
A road which leads to ditches filled with the bodies of those considered troublesome and unnecessary.
