I understand some of the players are not happy about playing in a foreign country....plus what about the lost revenue to Oakland (vendors, restaurants, bars, etc. surrounding the stadium, city and state tax revenue....and so forth).
I'm not really up on this goofy situation...I don't even know if I know what I'm talking about, LOL......maybe someone here can explain it.
I see some NFL games are now played in London...is the National Football League to become the GFL....i.e...."the Globalist Football League?

Actually... I guess maybe it IS trying to become the Globaliss Football League. That actually would explain a great deal of this crap, and the playing games in international cities strongly supports it.
The Mexican Ministery of Tourism is exuberant, stating that hosting American NFL games provided a great "economic impact to Mexico City and the country itself".
Folks, please read my post #43 up-thread where I discuss the negative impact on the economy of the American cities where teams will be not playing at home on a given Sunday, travelling south of the border instead.
The game just played in MexCit was a home game of the Raiders vs. the visiting Patriots. played away.
Since there is just so many home games played in Oakland during the season the vendors inside and outside the stadium take a big hit...as well as the city and state tax coffers....when the game is moved to a foreign country.
