It was raining this morning, and I nearly despaired of getting Blue to Bro’s and yet another weekend lost...then about noon, the sky cleared up and the TV said it was 51 out! Huzzah! So I called Sis, but they were out shopping so I had to wait an hour, during which the temp dropped 5 degrees.

No worry...I suited up and walked Penny, then tested the bike to make sure it would run...no problem, gathered up my stuff and rode to my sister’s house. Then we caravaned to Bro’s, during which time the sun dropped to the horizon, the wind picked up, and the temp dropped another 5 degrees and kept dropping as I rode. I could see the ponds and puddles freezing up as I rode. I saw one other rider on the road, and we bonded in instant solidarity with each other’s suffering.

After 26 miles of grueling endurance, I rolled into my Bro’s heated garage, where Blue will get a complete winterizing treatment and spend the the next few months in hibernation.

My thanks to my Sis and BIL was that I treated them to dinner in a new place we had never been before, and we had some great wine and food and companionship.

We are all too tired to go to Sunday Pub Nite tonight so the South Shore Music Community shall have to muddle through the evening without us!

We’ll always have Tuesday!

Did I mention to you that I HATE Winter?

Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...you have mentioned your feelings about winter before. d:o)

So glad you got Blue into hibernation...she can relax now, and you can too.

Glad you survived the trip and sounds like dinner was a fun and tasty reward for a job well done.

We got a couple inches of snow and nights are going to drop into single digits for the next few days.
