Beyonce 2020 Is Exactly What Democrats Need
Newser ^ | November 19, 2017 | Arden Dier

After Donald Trump's election victory, Michael Moore suggested Democrats should run a celebrity in 2020. If they aren't already considering it, they should be, writes Jeet Heer at New Republic. Some argue that voters are actually turned off by celebrities, whose lectures can feel patronizing and whose bank accounts hardly make them relatable. But "we live in a media-saturated world where fame has persuasive power," and the political victories of Trump, Ronald Reagan, and Arnold Schwarzenegger prove that, Heer says. But whereas Republicans have used celebrity to their advantage, Democrats have chosen to hope for a candidate that's both smart and charismatic.

Democrats are such clueless fools. They think Trump won because he's a celebrity. He is indeed, but he's always been a very polarizing one. People loved or hated him and he didn't seem to care which side of that people came down on as long as they were talking about him. It wasn't some universal sense of admiration and affection (like George Wasington enjoyed) that swept him into office. So what did?

The dems seem unable to grasp that Trump said something that many of us felt but no politican would say: that they are all the same and they don't care about us. Not in those words but he attached the establishment for unfair trade deals, for refusal to enforce border and immigration laws, for unpopular Obamacare that was causing prices to skyrocked while congress exempted themselves from all of it, and for their placement of a wide variety of special interests above the needs of the people. That's a substantive message that was unique and which many across the nation were longing for.

But Beyonce and George Clooney and whoever else they want to dredge up has good hair, nice clothes and will say all the same old class warfare BS that dems have been saying since 1964. So of course their fame will neutralize Trump's. Except Trump didn't win because he was famous and neither will they.

Hillary isn’t a celebrity? She’s been on TV every night for the past year.

Yes I know who her father is and other than genes I dont think she got much from him - I saw him when he spoke at the “ kill the bill” rally some years ago
She was raised by her depressed mother and it was not happy
She is emotionally ill
Remember her necking with her weird brother at a Hollywood event?
Shes a cutter from probably her childhood, and wore her ex husbands blood in a vial around her neck
She has had a female lover for years
Her father told the social workers the honest truth about her psychological issues when they were doing adoption background and she never forgave him ( one reason to adopt internationally is the background checks can be a lot more lenient for people with psych issues)
Someday when her kids grow up I think we are going to hear some disturbing stories. She has started dressing her youngest daughter in boys clothes and that dear little girl always photographs as very unhappy and clingy - her older daughter - well lets wait for the teenage years
