Florida Democratic Party chairman Stephen Bittel is stepping down after a report detailing a hostile and "creepy" work environment he created for women.
"When my personal situation becomes distracting to our core mission of electing Democrats and making Florida better, it is time for me to step aside," Bittel wrote in a statement posted on the FDP's Twitter feed Friday. "I am proud of what we have built as a Party and the wins we have had for Florida families, but I apologize for all who have felt uncomfortable during my tenure at the Democratic Party."
Bittel did not say when his resignation would go into effect. He said he would work with the party to set a date to elect his successor.

Why are demonrats suddenly being held “accountable”? Are they just cleaning out the remaining non diverse crowd
Mitch, the MSM and the Democrats had a simple mission: terminate Roy Moore. Its backfired and is ending up terminating scores of Democratic careers around the country.
These people opened up a tar baby and they’re the ones trapped in it. Couldn’t happened to more deserving folks.
All because Mitch McConnell didn’t know when to keep his stupid mouth shut and The Swamp now has a huge credibility problem - and now they face the reality of having to seat Roy Moore and yes they will have to seat him because of how they look to the country.
Its fun destroying the other guy - until the other guy happens to be yours. Welcome to The Swamp.
Heh!
Making room for Marxists and Muslims.
Horrific and likely 100% true...
Dude! You have to either focus on electing Democrats *or* on making Florida better. You can't have it both ways!
Just as well creepy dude is resigning. He doesn't know what he'd rather do.
I have to wonder if the reason he’s getting out now is because he’s doing it before things get “sticky”.
You hit it. The only black guy I’ve seen caught up in this is the Fox on air personality.
By resigning, you made Florida more great...now, if Dems would resign in Florida...
