The White House said Friday that one key difference between the allegations of sexual misconduct against Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and those against President Trump is that the senator “has admitted wrongdoing.”

At Friday’s press briefing, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded to a question about whether it would be “fair” to investigate the claims against the president. She said that the allegations against Trump were already covered “extensively” during the campaign.

Claims are not evidence. Pictures, on the other hand...are.

"Pictures, on the other hand...are."

Yes, that's the precise point.

and why I conduct all my assignations in the dark. None of my counter parties can swear to having seen me.

Creepy?

Perhaps, but really only the first time.

“White House: Difference between Franken, Trump allegations is Franken ‘admitted wrongdoing’”

well, that makes it all better then.

which i suppose means that it’s OK to be a murderer as long as one confesses after the fact ...

is it “fair” to investigate the claims against the president

Is there reasonable suspicion which requires and actual bonafide REASON or probable cause against the President - evidence more than accusation that corroborates the accusation, Jackass??????

No ... at least one difference between the Trump and Franken allegations is that Trump is Trump and Franken is ... well ... Franken.

I'll confess to being naïve but the Access Hollywood tape doesn't seem to say what everyone assumes it says. I'll humbly accept your correction but it appears Trump was talking about the power of celebrity. Does anyone seriously deny that if a man is sufficiently powerful, rich, famous, handsome, popular, etc, etc, he can get away with grabbing at least some women by the...well, you get the point.
That's not even open to discussion. The only question is whether Trump himself took advantage of his status to do this. Maybe I didn't listen closely enough. Did he actually brag about doing it or was he merely pointing out that men at his level could do it and get away with it. If it was the latter, there's nothing to argue about!

The nauseating anti-Trump Fox News network was beating the ‘double standard’ drum in advance of the daily WH press briefing. Double to them, according to them, between Trump’s treatment of himself and Roy Moore vs his tweets about Frankenpig.

BTW, I almost never watch tv news so I was surprised that Fox News has a cat named Rick Leventhal who has a very distracting lisp. I mean, about the only qualification for being a news reader is not having a lisp.

So if Roy Moore apologized for doing nothing would that help?

Oh... and there’s that pesky little thing...umm, what’s it called?....

Oh yeah - EVIDENCE with Franken; NOTHING but innuendo and accusation with Trump.

He was a fool to admit it. It’s always better to do a modified limited hang out.

Trump: “I’ve gotta use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.”

Unknown, but apparently Bush: “Whatever you want.”
Trump: “Grab them by the p-—y. You can do anything.”
