Gosh.....

I remember slow dancing with Joni at our 8th grade graduation dance.

I discovered that girls are warm and soft and smell good.

Thus began my downfall in life......

I was sent to ballroom dancing class as a 10 year old. Boys sat on one side, girls on the other side of the room. Boys would cross the dance floor and say, "May I have the pleasure of this dance?"

I hated that class will all my heart. Hated, hated, hated it!

Fifty years later I still cringe.

I always went for the hottest chicks across the aisle when the dance started. We were a private Christian Academy, not public school, so the other neighboring schools sort of trusted us (LOL) for these kinds of events.

And yeah, girls do smell good and feel soft when they’re 15/16. Thank you Marie whatever your last name was but she was a hot blonde. That’s good enough for my first dance.

Gosh me also...I remember "Tarzanna" climbing down out of a tree to go to dancing class...with boys....phew......after that day my whole world changed, for the better.

We distanced ourselves (manners) from disrespectful people male or female. Today several generations have been raised by television...the results are not favorable...modesty, integrity, loyalty etc, have all been replaced by dishonesty, cheating, no loyalty, in fact most ethics seem to be a thing of the past.
