the equivalent for freepers who rejoice in this is to have 22 yro males play on 8th grade bb teams or football teams..
competition to be real "competition" must be among your own...
a 130 pound boxer does not box against 250 pound boxers..
With Progs it is necessary to focus on what the goal is. The goal is not to affirm trans*whatever*. The prog goal is to eliminate competition. Whether it is the NFL, business, education, or government having a meritocracy of the best, brightest, most athletic, or skilled gives the lie to all of the Prog nonsense they espouse.
Soon all games will be structured around “personal best” and those who overcome the greatest obstacles (as defined by the progs) will be declared the champions.
I’ve been saying for years that this will inevitably result in the demise of women’s sports entirely.
Here’s why this nonsense continues:

However, in my coaching days, there were a couple of girls who played JV baseball in the outfield, and even did a little pitching.
I was fine with that as long as they could field, throw and hit, which they did reasonably well. Though when it came to varsity try-outs, they just couldn’t cut it.
Don’t worry about the 22 year-olds playing among 8th graders. Scholastic sports at all levels are going to disappear entirely.

I can tell you that if this had been the policy when I was in high school sports back in NJ in the ‘70s, several guys I know would absolutely have “been a girl” for a day or so, just to get into the girls locker room. Of course, the girls back then would probably have beaten any such lecherous guy (otherwise known as a normal male teenager) to a bloody pulp, but that’s another story.
I cannot imagine how a policy like this WON’T end badly. First, of course, you will have all kinds of sexual assaults. Second, girls (actual girls, with 2 X chromosomes in every cell of their bodies) will simply not be able to compete with even an average “trans” (lech with an X and Y chromosome in each cell of HIS body). The effect of these 2 inevitable results of this policy will be to destroy girls’ sports, and also to traumatize girls.
I have a girl in HS right now, and she’s in a sports program, so I have a dog in this fight. I have told her that if anything like this happens, I’m to be told immediately. Shortly thereafter, several people are going to seriously regret the entire fact pattern, even if no one actually touches my daughter. Of course, I’m in Texas, so I don’t actually expect an insane policy like this to ever see the light of day. I’m incredibly glad to no longer be in the dark and fascist Peoples Republik of Neu Joisey.

You can always enroll in HS in NJ, and say that you identify as a 16-year-old girl. Have at it. :>)
New Jersey sucks anyways. I guess I look at it this in a glass half full kind of way...the US Women National soccer team should be awesome for years to come!

With gender fluidity, you can be whatever you want, on any given day.
So during gym day, be a tranny, and shower with the girls.

Yeah, this is an insane policy. The only results will be the destruction of girls’ sports and many sexual assaults.

That was my thinking as well. At my son’s school it is incredibly hard to make the baseball team. The softball team will take anyone with a pulse and a vagina. Ditto for boys v. girls soccer, boys v. girls basketball, boys v. girls golf, ad infinitum.

This is good. I like it. It makes liberals deal with a contradiction. Men are, on average, stronger than women, and better at sports. We have separate teams, because it’s “unfair” for a man to play against women.
BUT, there is no such thing as men and women. There are no sexes. One is “assigned” a gender at birth, but the individual is free to change his/her gender any time, at will. When the person changes his/her gender, he/she changes his/her sex, and is now OK to play on the team corresponding to the chosen gender.
PS. Serious problem lurks. When a person claims to be a different sex, he/she/it had better tell his/her/its doctor! Diagnoses and treatments are often different depending on sex. Lying to the doctor might mean that he/she/it gets the wrong treatment, for which he/she/it will obviously unfairly sue the doctor.
It used to be that one had to know what the definition of “is” was. We are no longer defining “is”. I hope this helps.
