The guy has no prior criminal record, lives with his wife and their other daughter. They girls were twins.
I hear about a crime like this that's so heinous and I think, I hope they're right because if they're wrong and the child's death was not the father's fault, than a horrible injustice has been dealt a grieving parent.
I've become skeptical of everything. I don't believe anything I read anymore.
Hopefully DNA testing will be done

Likely guilty, but solid evidence leading to conviction should precede the aforementioned medieval remedies.

I have to agree with you both. Overly aggressive DAs seek convictions not in order to pursue justice but so they can campaign as being tough on crime. Because juries bring presumption of guilt into the courtroom they convict the accused and mandatory sentencing removes judges' discretion. End result: There are sickos running loose while at the same time there are innocent people serving time.
