University of California regents meeting on Thursday admonished UC President Janet Napolitano for agreeing to a plan that led to interference in a state audit on the operation of her office.
Her decision and then follow-on actions of her direct reports reflect negatively on the University of California community, which is committed to the highest ethical standards in furthering the Universitys mission of teaching, research and public service, board chairman George Kieffer said in a statement after the regents met behind closed doors for nearly five hours.

Come on.... This job at the UC was just a holding pattern until Janet would ascend to a seat on the Supreme Court.
Didn’t dock her pay or refer her for prosecution!
UC system starting to teeter..too much state tax money to waste on salaries and pensions....and some of their academics are superfluous...like gender studies...or cinema..
...intercollegiate athletics(way way tooooo big)....volleyball? Let the private schools waste their money on those activities
