Fox News Shepard Smith drew applause from liberal media outlets Tuesday in a fact check marred with mispronunciations and misrepresentations.
Smith, one of Foxs top liberals and who frequently opposes the networks narratives, spoke at length on his show Shepard Smith Reports after Attorney General Jeff Sessions floated the idea of a special counsel to investigate recent revelations surrounding the 2010 partial sale of Canadian firm Uranium One to Russian energy giant Rosatom. The sale was approved by the Obama administration as it included the sale of 20 percent of U.S. uranium to the Russian giant.
In laying out the widely reported story, Smith mispronounced the name of the Canadian investor at the center of the scandal (calling him Gweh-strah, then Gwy-strah instead of the correct Joo-strah); the name of the government body that reviewed the deal (Si-fuhs instead of the correct Sif-ee-us); and the name of a senior State Department official involved in the review (Fernando instead of the accurate Fernandez). Smith also incorrectly describes Uranium One is a South African company. It was Canadian and is now, in fact, a Russian state-owned company.
The details of the Uranium One story have received broad coverage from outlets such as the New York Times and considerable attention on Fox News, including a one-hour special hosted by Bret Baier which aired in 2015 on the release of the book Clinton Cash.
Among the many things Smith objected to was Clintons ability to influence the deals approval. The Clinton State Department had no power to approve or veto that transaction. It could do neither, he said.

In the past, I wondered how that ass hat kept his job at Fox, but then again, I wondered the same thing about Jerry Rivers and Juan Williams too.
When are they going to realize that most people can’t stand that lying liberal idiot SOB.
It seems the Mississippi Queen has run aground...again
Frikkin’ pickle-smoochers...they have problems most will never know about.

Mississippi Queen, if you know what I mean
Mississippi Queen, she taught me everything
Way down around Vicksburg, around Louisiana way
Lived a Cajun lady, we called her Mississippi Queen
You know she was a dancer
She moved better on wine
While the rest of them dudes was a-gettin their kicks
Buddy, beg your pardon, I was getting mine
Mississippi Queen, if you know what I mean
Mississippi Queen, she taught me everything
This lady she asked me if I would be her man
You know that I told her Id do what I can
To keep her looking pretty
Buy her dresses that shine
While the rest of them dudes was a-makin their bread
Buddy, beg your pardon, I was losing mine
You know she was a dancer
She moved better on wine
While the rest of them dudes was gettin their kicks
Brother, beg your pardon, now Im getting mine
Ohhhh, Mississippi Queen

They’re just there for show; gives Fox’s mantra “Fair and Balanced” street cred’s.
Shemp is clearly getting his talking points from the Clinton Cartel. This line of defense started last Sunday and aims to blame the book “Clinton Cash” and obscure the timeline. Pretty sure U1 was known here before that book(May 5, 2015)was published.

...his toothy grin makes my skin crawl
He’s one I will never watch on Fox. Right up there with Morning Joe on PSMNBC.
I'm expecting him to say something like: "Hey little boy wanna see this cute little puppy I found? He's right here in my car."
Great Guitar work by Leslie West on Mississippi Queen. Just wish the song was longer than 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Sthepard Sthmith, typical Ole Miss fairy.
Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
Yeah, I just searched YouTube for a good while and couldn't find a single longer Live version that was very good. Guess they were one of those acts that needed help from studio technicians in order to produce quality stuff. And most of the long live versions simply stretch out the beginning guitar part, in most cases to an awful-sounding ridiculous several minutes.
“Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”
Agree; but keep’em not in positions of authority or power. I like the saying, “if you’re going to kill the King, KILL THE KING! and, I would add all his henchmen. Meaning metaphorically the previous administration - all of them...
